Have you ever been to Birkdale? The traffic. The people. The judgment stares from teenagers with their Starbucks in hand, and laughs as you walk by hoping they told a joke and you weren't the punchline...
Anywho Birkdale is such a fun little village and the coolest spot to be if you're ever in the Lake Norman area! There are so many shops and places to eat - it's truly an awesome place! It came by no surprise that this girl was ready for her 14th birthday shoot and wanted them done at Birkdale Village!
It wasn't the easiest task, for one it was so cold outside, but she was such a trooper and you can't even tell that it was 32 degrees!
Second, the traffic man, the traffic. We had to plan out each photo to make sure that there wasn't anyone coming to the 4 way stop to ruin the photo with their Escalade or Mercedes. Not jealous... okay maybe a little.
Lastly, the people. It was kind of humorous the amount of people that duck and run when they see a professional camera out in public! Then there are the ones that have no idea or situational awareness of the photoshoot at all and will stand in the background clueless.
Needless to say, it wasnt the easiest session I've ever done, but the photos turned out so great, and these hurdles were a challenge, but that's what makes it fun! We laughed our heads off and would 1,000% do it again! Plan your next birthday and do a Birkdale Village Photoshoot!
